Once again, Tacoma elementary and middle school students can participate in after school programs Beyond the Bell and Club B. These programs are a fun, structured way for students to get extra access to STEM, sports, arts, dance, outdoor education and more. 

How to prepare 
Registration opens Monday, Aug. 31, on a staggered schedule by school name. Before you register, take these steps to prepare: 

• Open the Compass/Family App to preview some of the programs that will be offered at your child’s school. All programs be available in Compass by Aug. 31. Need help with Compass? Connect with our Technology Support team.  

• Open MySchoolBucks or create an account in order to pay for your child’s after school program during registration. Get help with MySchoolBucks.

Fee change for this year 
This school year, Beyond the Bell will cost $100 per program. Club B will cost $50 per program. 

Families who qualify for McKinney-Vento or financial assistance through the CNEEB form may receive Beyond the Bell and Club B programs at a free or reduced cost ($10 for Beyond the Bell and $5 for Club B.)   

Any fee reductions/financial assistance will be automatically applied to your account; you will be able to see it in Compass.
